This is Aimee & Phil. Quite possible some of the nicest people out there. With a deep love for nature, our planet and each other. Their gorgeous Eco Vintage DIY wedding at Donnelly River was one of a kind! If you have been to Donnelly River you will know that once you arrive it’s like time stands still. There is a beautiful peace and quiet in this place and lots of opportunity for letting yourself just relax and take in the beautiful nature and local fauna. Aimee & Phil’s wedding day started with a beautiful morning ceremony in the middle of the forrest, surrounded by the gorgeous big trees and the local kangaroos. I mean having a kangaroo wanting to have a taste of your bouquet as you walk down the aisle is totally normal in Donnelly River
We had a lovely walk in the bush for some shots after the ceremony followed by an amazing high tea and lunch……The best grooms speech I have ever heard, a most incredible song sung by Aimee for Phil – there was not an eye dry in the room (including me!). We then ventured out for some fun afternoon photos as the sun slowly made it’s way towards the horizon. An incredible, heartfelt and touching day! Donnelly River is probably up there with my favourite places to hang out and shoot weddings! I hope to be back here soon…..
A few days later we met again for a few post wedding photos at one of our local stunning beaches. Much laughter and fun!

This is Erin & Sean – and Fergus! I first met Erin & Sean when I photographed their wedding which you can see here , and it is still one of my all time favourites! They are such a warm and loving couple that really shine in each others company. And now little Fergus has arrived too, bringing even more love into this little family! I feel extremely honoured to follow families like this through their love journeys and path to parenthood. It is so humbling to watch from the side as a couple becomes family, as their love grows and as times change. Makes you stop for a little while and reflect and all the amazing things in life – and one of them is for sure being parent! Enjoy these favourites of mine xxx
Lots has happened in the last month. Lots happens all the time when you have little people in your house. Every week a new little milestone…. Avery & River got a new bike trailer, which we are loving at the moment. Goes a lot faster than the pram and mumma gets some exercise too! We have been spending lots of afternoons near the beach cooling down and enjoying this beautiful weather. River is nearly crawling – sooo close! She is rocking back and forwards and gets around the room so it can’t be long. Avery is all over the house now crawling very fast and pulling up on everything that is taller than him. Also there is lots of planking going on ha ha. They are definitely very active babies and i love that. River has also just learnt to clap her hands and is very excited whenever someone notices her newfound skill. This day we took a little time out as a family and spent the afternoon at one of the beautiful beaches. Pussy willows in the grass, sand on our feet and a beautiful calm ocean near sunset. Couldn’t be happier right now. Life is beautiful xxx
